Well not much to say other than it finally all came together, birds, weather, and a snow day closing my office.
Was able to traverse the roadways a decent ride away from home to a different area I like to hunt sometimes and found the tide flooding out but the birds piling in.
Got setup and within 30 minutes I had three birds, started calling my father telling him to get his butt down here as he'd have just enough time to get in an hour or so. By the time he arrived I had five, needing one more for a nice limit. Well we proceeded to notch six more ducks and a banded goose before all was said and done, missing our last puddler and having a good laugh.
Thank you to mother nature for sending some weather our way and allowing me to have such a memorable hunt with my dad.
The goose was banded in 2005 in Quebec.
