Just a pic of decoys at work.

That's a nice image.
Don't ya just love snow falling during a hunt? Those muffled sounds in the air, cold flakes melting on your face and I swear there is a smell to fresh snow, just about like a spring rain. I'm almost ready for winter if you can't tell... I am glad it's a couple months shorter here. :)

now all we need is a picture of hitch and dani sittlin in thier sunglasses and shorts huntin ducks! --- LOL

nice picture mike

divers haven't shown up here in my neck of the michigan woods -- been too warm -- but thats a changin and they will come and we will be waiting -- and drambuie duck will be a cookin!

grin, he did...

just coming up for "air" and thought I'd check in on my ol' buds. Having a bit of gun huntin' duck withdrawl here this year for some reason so I figured this was the best place to fine some medicine. It's nice to see most of the same ol' names and "faces" on here still...a real tribute to the site.

Lee,
Cool pictures. A turkey with a hawk! Looks like those Harris Hawks have flames on their wings, they got to be tough.
Dare you to stick out your tongue that close to a Goshawk.

Tim

Hey man, good to hear from you! Yup, the hawks have been a real blast and its nice to be able to hunt something virtually all year long. (That's a Coopers Hawk conidering my tongue for a meal, grin. Luckily he had just been fed!)

Still carving?

Hey Lee!

Long time ... I see you are still hawking, that's awesome. Are you carving anymore these days?

MIke

Hey Mike, yup, still messing with the birds. I haven't carved anything in more than 4 years now BUT I've stayed in touch with a few fellow carvers, hunters...one of em, Grant W. has me talked back into making a few this fall and I might even head out to join him for a duck hunt one of these days.

Right on! Post up some pics when you get rollin' on the decoys again. Grant is sure making some nice blocks these days.

Mike
