This will be my first home and it's on 0.36 acres with a 2 car garage and a big full fenced backyard. And, there's only 2 houses between it and Lake Spokane/Long Lake with quick access to the public launch and park!

It's a little rough but the potential is huge!

Purty flowers. Looks like my garden. :)

Happy home...er...house warming...ah...well, happy whatever you say to someone who just bought a house.

live int eh garage and store the hunting stuff inside...you don't want the wifey to think all that room is for her......

And don't forget to nuke the yard to kill everything alive out there except the dog so that you never have to worry about a piss ant in the kitchen....

Nice size on that picture too by the way....

Steve

You know what your wife was thinking when you she signed the papers? He can mow the lawn Saturday!!!!!!!!!!! Bwaaaaa Haaaaaaaa.

No she was probably thinking about the writers cramp she is gonna have after making up her "honey do" list.... Congrats on the new house, now the work really starts. You will have an endless list of things that need to be done all the time.

notice how he pointed that it is a short distance to the launch? that is because he may only have 1 hr per weekend to hit the water after "the list" gets stuck in his hands.

Congrats! Did you have to negotiate for the Lab, or was that part of the deal?! If a Lab was included with my house, he'd be the best part!

Very cool. I love what you've done with the lawn. A little splash of yellow here, splash of green there, splash more of yellow here....etc.
I remember my first home....in fact, we had to build it out of mud and straw. Ok, maybe I'm not that old...unless you talk to my kids.
Congrats.
Lou

GEEZ! You guys sure are a bunch of downers. And, what's wrong with the 'yellow flowers'? I kinda like them. They add contrast to the greens and the browns! I was thinking of just digging a big hole in the backyard and filling it with water and building a blind for it. That way I could hunt and train my dog year round. Heck I wouldn't have to build my boat anymore. I guess I don't need you guys anymore. Oh, and Steve, you'd better watch out if you're ever in the Spokane area! I've been working on my 'Sward' fighting skills!

D&Z,
I was not dissin' ya on the yard as I truly like dandelions myself. I wouldn't even treat for them out at the lake house if it weren't for the relatives next to us. I treat half of the lawn, out to the cross drive. The "back 40", doesn't get treated and the dandelions are in their full glory back there.
Enjoy the new digs.
Lou

Love the front windows... Whats the view from across that way? Looks great!! bout 2k times better than my first house for sure~!

Congrats on the purchse of your new home. You only live about 1/2 mile from me. I'm on the Charles Rd. side. And Derek you know there is no hunting on the lake. Right!!!!! HeHe

Maybe we can get together some time.

Gary, that'd be cool to meet up sometime. We move in on June 1st so the water should be warm enough by then so I'll just jump in and swim across to your side!
