Kayak Seat ?

Was wondering if anyone out there knows where to get a kayak (or other) seat like the one shown; molded with fold down back support. I've tried many of the kayak stores, Old Town Kayak, Cabelas, REI, etc., but no one has one. It's not going in a kayak and i don't want one of those kayak seat backs with the straps. gotta be molded. thanks for any suggestions.

The link you provided is selling the pad set only for the seat pictured. Thats what it saysb in the ad and the text describes the "peel and stick" adhesive backing.

The seat that he is looking for (the one in the original post) is an older model used in some Old Town Kayaks. Any Old Town dealer would be able to order a replacement but some may not want to be bothered, as some dealers are more interested in selling new equipment. Knowing Old Town, I'm sure it would not be inexpensive. I thought the price for just the pads was high. (but what do I know???) hehe :>)
 
I actually spoke to Old Town Canoes/Kayak customer service and they logged on to the Surf to Summit webpage to look at the pic. they didn't have a clue as to what model that came from.

Well don't that beat all? It looks very very similar to one I've seen in an older Old Town Loon. (minus the pads) Did Old Town have nothing close to what you need? With out knowing what the specs are you are looking for, it is hard to suggest other alternatives.
