Keep or Sell Sneak Boat?

So after moving from Upstate NY to Western WI, my hunting has changed a bit. I've since gotten a small mud motor and jon boat, also hunt the small, row in ducker cattail soughs. My predicament is do I keep my Chuck Huff Sneak Boat? This thread is not starting for folks to chime in on the quality of some Chuck Huff sneak boats. If that's what will come from your keyboard, log off or stick to the subject. The question is, with changing hunt strategies, do I keep this boat because of it's solo use ability a couple times a year or sell it to someone that hunts solo all the time and may find this to be the ticket. Don't get me wrong,...I love the boat and find it to be full of features no other boat offers. It just seems to be a waste for a couple times a year to keep it.

personally-

two deciding questions

do you have room for it?

do you need the money from it?

if the answers are yes and no - keep it for that occasional use

any other set of answers - find it a home

Ron,

I am using a small kayak to do everything, it works but is not comfortable.
A purpose built boat is much better at meeting your needs and provides a more enjoyable experience.

I would keep it and enjoy it regardless how often it gets used.

I concur with Ricks line of thought.

If you have room to store it and don't really need the money, keep it.

Ron,

I have 7 boats,,,,,,,, need I tell you my answer?

Dave are you saying you're in the market for another boat if he decides to sell?

Well, I guess it might be nice to have one for company. :>)

As another guy with 4 boats - that used to have 5, this is what I'd do. Get it ready for hunting this fall and then don't use it at all. If you get to the end of the season without thinking about it or wanting to use it just once or twice then sell it next year. If you are, even occasionally, wanting to put it in just to hunt one or two spots, keep it. You won't get what you have in it if you sell it so if you have the room and don't need the money as someone else said then hang on to it.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. If its paid for...keep it! You'll find a reason to hunt it.

It is easier for me to give advice if you answer one question first. How much would you sell the Chuck Huff for if you got rid of it?

You guys that haven't even hit double digits with boats, you must all be married or somethin!

Seriously, I would keep it.

Thanks for your responses. I'll keep it around for another season.. Reduce the chance of sellers remorse. If it doesn't see the time it needs on the water....there may be a Huff available with hope grass rails and locking cover. Diafoam in the hull also.

Keep It ! I love mine ! I hunt alone most of the time. Its not quite as much fun as having a hunting partner or two along but thats just the way it is.... Its easy to trailer, launch, and load. I used mine on a 320 acre lake last year, and I plan on hunting a 2200+ acre reservoir with it this year.

If I had all the stuff today that I was forced to sell, that I didn't want to sell, I'd be a rich man......

Keep it ! You'll regret selling it whether its used this year or not....

I have the same situation. I have a 14 classic that I haven't used much the last2 seasons.II've been going back and forth to sell or not to sell.I don't like to see it sitting around but if I sell it what if then I need it.Its a quality problem.

Keep it Ron. I darn near sold mine a few months back. It was killing me and it never even left the driveway. The buyer just quit contacting me for some reason or another.

By the way, if that buyer reads this and wants his deposit back I just need your address - shoot me a PM. Can't mail ya money back if I don't know where to mail it to.
