Doe with testicles?
You must be a worse pixel peeper than me cause I missed that one...LOL
Must be the ones hoppin the 6ft pagewire fence?
That took more testosterone than I could ever muster...lol

There will be more pics, thanks for all the great comments.
It's summer time almost and I'll be gettin out alot more now.
Takin the wheeler and going for a trout tomorrow (weather permitting) got me a new Pelican Case so the camera can go along as well, never fails if I leave it behind...I see...something good.

Gary,

"It looks like your getting a lot of use out of the 500mm"

I don't think the 500mm has come off the camera since I got it.
I was torn between the 150-500mm and the 50-500mm, I think I made the right choice with the 50-500mm.
It certainly brings things in and a great help getting things "stopped" at less than full zoom.

Plus it gives me a chance to say GREAT PICTURES and KEEP EM COMING again.....

As good as my camera has been to me/us I figure it needed a break...call it semi retirement.
It now has it's place in the Pelican Case as a backup.
Scares me cause it kinda looks dejected and angry when I leave it behind...lol
I upgraded to a K200D this week!!!
10MP vs 6MP makes a bigger differance than I thought.
Faster/more pics in a burst
Excellant weather seals,16 total, best on the market next to an underwater camera
and for some reason seems a bit faster to focus and "lock on" to a target...
Of course...it poured rain from the time I got it til yesterday.
Here are the first few...

Those were BEFORE I got home and read some instruction and changed some settings.
I really hate instructions but, they do in fact make a differance I guess?
New settings and some sunshine..

Nice pictures Neil. Congrats on the new camera. I read reviews on that camera.nice What lens are you using with the K200d ?

Wispete...

Using the Sigma 50-500mm BIGMA.
Lovin it too,it may be big and bulky but it gets er done!
New cam is wayyy more quiet than the 100D too so being closer now is not an issue.
Closer is always better as it isn't a truly "fast" lens so it can't be zoomed all the way and "stop" birds in flight.
When it is zoomed to 500mm it's really hard almost impossible o keep subject in frame.
I know I could mortgage my house or something and get a much better/faster lens but...this ones workin OK for now.

Staying with Pentax so my lenses all marry up with cam still.

Neil,
those are some very nice photos.
I like the red brested merg as we get a lot of them here. The ringer taking off is cool too. The GE flying with his girls rocks as well. The rest are too many to list. Deer shots must have been fun to get. Keep us posted. Nothing like a few good pictures to get MLBob Fired up to carve something new.
