Headed out at sunrise, we found some open water in a favorite spot, while setting up gadwalls and widgeon were flying in. After setting up we had our limit of blacks right away. It was awesome watching black ducks land 10 feet from the boat over and over again. Decoys kept getting iced and tide was getting low so we had to pack in the season.. Made it back safe after plowing through some ice. Had a great season.. Rich

Nice looking hunting area... two black ducks to polish off the season sounds like a great way to end. congrats on a great season.
 
Thanks, its amazing how many black ducks I see every time I hunt. I realize they are a prized duck in many parts of the country. You have to be careful here because so many come in you have to be good at identifying before shooting..
