last day of season

Well sunday was long island's last day of duck season. This was my first season being a waterfowler, been fishing all my life since 5 years old. We used my 21 Steiger for ocean sea ducks which was fun but finally had the opportunity to hunt from a friends southbay and it was a great day, I got my first Black Duck 15 min. after setting up. I really would rather hunt like this from now on so now im in search of a used Southbay (or similar) so if anybody is selling or knows anybody who is please PM me. Thanks.. Rich

Well, Rich, I hope your first season was such that you can hardly wait for next year's duck season to begin. Congrats on getting your black duck. That is one duck I would love to get some day.

Signs to look for :

# 1 - Have you said " Next Year im gonna" or some form of this?
# 2- Have visited a waterfowl web site today ?
#3-have you looked for or boughten waterfowl gear since the season has closed..?

I imagine other fellas can add many symptoms of this addiction.....

Rich, you have an inlet real close now for those sea duck hunts! Where did you hunt with the punty? I grew up there, was a clammer in my first life, knew the bay like the back of my hand. Sure miss what we had there as kids. Rich
