Lee, here's one for ya.....

Dave, hard to tell, but send it over and I'll try it on the sneak boat next season.I love that it has two triggers.Fastest choke selection there is for a double. Not many 21's with two.Maybe 2500 but could be 5500 or more.

If it was at auction where I wasn't present I'd say it would go for 150 bucks..but if I was bidding it would go for 3 dollars more than I could afford. Is ita 21?

It's amazing what some of these guns are going for these days. 10 years ago you would have been hard pressed to get a few hundred dollars for some of these guns that are getting thousands now.

I'll hold my money till one comes up in decent shape. Hell, 8700 will get you about a 1/2 acre in Montana anymore..how many townships you and Judy buying?? Of course after witnessing your luck, you'd probably buy a 1/4 acre lot on top of a mile thick gold nugget.

Looking for something like this Lee. My buddy Rick Ketcham has commited $200K to the cause. The gold nugget is in the guide service business we are looking into starting. Rick's son will do the guiding and Rick and I will do the booking and the Sports Shows. The average 3 day upland hunt with 1 guide and dogs in Montana run about $1,995.00 and they are booked all season. Throw in warerfowl & fishing and you can just about keep busy from May to December.

We are also looking at Wilcox, Arizona for quail, Javilena & Coues deer hunts from December to March. That would get us out of Montana in the wintertime. Also looking into some bird hunts and fishing trups out of Loreto, Baja now that Johney's house is being built down there. Nobody said this retirement stuff was going to be easy.

Love the look of the Winchester 21's.

I just got a 21 12ga with 26" and 30" barrels and 3" chambers. Can't wait to duck hunt with it. Might look to buy a english grip stock for it as well. Always wanted to try an english grip on a nice SxS.

Wouldn't you have to reshape the tang and trigger guard? I personally can't hit squat with a straight grip shotgun.

Trigger guard would need to be changed I believe. Don't think the tang would need changed though.

your mentioned on the phomne the otrher day? I don't remember you mentioning that it had ALL that extra stuff with it. Your price seems more than fair to me from what I see on the .com sites.

Cory,

That 21 of yours is the best of both worlds with the two barrels and being 3" too. I'd love to have a 21 12 or 16 with 26" barrels IC & IM, dual triggers and a strait english stock and splinter forend. I also like the maller Prince of Wales" round grip like the one on a CZ Ringneck I recently picked up. If I'm going to have a gun with a pistol grip, I like to have it with a palm swell like the Rizzini 20/28 two barrel set I recently picked up. I don't know what it is, but that palm swell really feels good when you are swinging the gun.

The reason Lee doe's not like an English stock is because of all that SCOTCH he has in him. It goes way back to William Wallace I think, hehehehehe.
