It snowed here on monday and today it was nice and warm.


Right now the Valley is full of noisy gobblers. I slammed the sliding shop door closed this afternoon and had a whole mess of toms fire up with their loud gobbles somewhere right behind the shop, must be getting Turkey Time! (7,200 foot Greyback Mountain in background)

In the back yard last night with the lawn roller. You're a lot greener than we are here right now. The farmer who farms the field out behind my house was spreading weed killer or something..one of the trees on the property line had blown over in the wind we have been getting so I fired up the chainsaw and cut it up for him. While I was sawing about 12 geese came in and wanted to land next to me..the back one said "no way" so they put down about 80 yards out and honked at me to get out of there. I found my sight on Midway, they had a "guts" for sale with a white outline blade for 10.95..then they wanted 3.00 special handling and 8.95 for shipping..got pissed and x'd out of there...may go back when I regain my civility and bite the binooch and order it.
