Well lets see how good you guys are,I'm presently looking to install ROPE lighting under the rails inside my HIGH-TECK THE HAWK BOAT ,Cabelas sells them for 19.99 per 6-ft long each , in need of six=$60.oo buck total ,in 12 volt capacity. I'm sure some one out there sells them at a lower cost.Does anyone know where I can get them at a better price. My new 25 yamaha tapped me out, boy nobody ever said duck hunting was cheep, and I believe it.

Way way too much. Look in the lighting department of you local Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, Walmart, Target, ext.... Should be able to find it for less than half to $20 Cabela's wants..

Also, they now make these with LED's instead of incan bulbs. These will be pricier but if current draw is a concern, the LED's are you best bet.

Mark , fisrt off thank you, next ? have you used these lights before? Can or how do you change them over to be used in a boat with the power sorce being only a 12 VOLT battery. The ones at walmart say for 120V D.C. current[household elec.]I need to be able to connect for alternating current {battery] and not having the knowledge of an electrition I don't know if this is possible,[ In the dark, Cas Alkanowski ]

Did you check Jamestown Distributors? They have a lot of that stuff. LED's are the way to go it is affordable.
