Looking for decoy info...

Just picked up some E. Allens. However some are branded Maddecoys and others Wildwater.

Got a bit of info from Lou T already, but trying to get an idea on value. I may sell a few. Some Mad redheads are still in wrappers. Others are like new.

Bret, AFAIK, they are just guys that finished the E Allen decoys for sale as finished birds. I met the guy in PA that did the Maddecoys...bought some remaining stock of FME from him for my BBSB a couple years ago. Lives near my mom in SE PA. I also bought some of the hanging keel weights he used.... a lead formed on a thick copper wire. I like that they take up less room in the decoy bags than a fixed keel.

As far as who finished your birds... the guy at Maddecoys used a couple different people to do his painting for him. I remember he talked about a girl doing some that wanted to learn.

I would be interested in a couple of the redheads perhaps. PM me if you like. Like to see some pics.
