Hunting has been fun.. Watching Kodi run from the front deck to lauch off the back of the boat, in to bullrush in to retrieve a bull can has to be one of the best memories of the season....

That had to be a super rush. Here I thought bull cans had red. Didn't realize they had green like the mallards and F-16's. Cool, pics, Phil. Thanks for posting.

Guess I know where I should have been this weekend. :>) :>) I ran 5 miles of my local river on a scouting run and only kicked up one flock of 11 Mallards and they were inside city limits.

So,,,,,,,,,,, I stayed home and worked around the place tiding up things for winter.

I may take the week of Thanksgiving off. If I do, I'll be heading for the river at least part of that time. I've only invested in an Iowa lisc. so that will keep me on this side of the channel.

Nice ducks you got there.
 
:) no problem... was that green envy? It has more than a few pinfeathers too... I plucked it...and one of the mallard to roast... Trying out the recipe in the the last DU Magazine.

I could have shot 20 or 30 cans yesterday.... It was VERY fun to watch them circle and bank over me.

Dave, I haven't ponied up for the WI license yet either... Unfortunantely I will be in North Central Arkansas over Thanksgiving... :(

Nope...Next to no hunting within 2 hours of where I will be.... and to top it off... The inlaws live on a lake that is no hunting... lots of GE's just swimming off the dock.....
 
I knew I should've went to THE river yesterday... Nice limit Phil...!
