Mass guys: Sunday hunting legislation

Rep. Anne Gobi (D) Spencer has once again filed legislation this year to allow Sunday hunting in MA. Now it's time for us to do our part and write or email our state reps and let them know how we feel. You may remember that last year a similar bill was filed by Rep. Gobi but it never made it to the floor for a vote despite receiving a positive recommendation from a legislative study.

I hope you get it... too many Mass plates in RI parking lots on Sundays.

not only would you see fewer Mass plates at RI launches on sun, but you would see more RI and NH plates in Mass. during the week I think it would be great for the us here in nh it may relieve some of the sun hunting pressure, and is more appealing when buying a mass license.

Yes. Not having Sunday hunting is a drag for the folks in those states. How many people can take a Friday off? Or a Weds? Retired folks and school kids ; )

I hope they pass it, it only makes sense. Fingers are crossed.
 
I hope it passes too but I have my doubts it will ever even make to the floor for a vote. I sent a letter to my rep. It only makes sense like you guys said. Currently, 39 states allow sunday hunting and only 11 either have restrictions or prohibit it all together.

I just hope it passes at some point in my lifetime. I'm 25 so there is still hope.
