i decided too keep it simple after running too many directions for a first build. So now my question is about ply wood the local lumber store here in eatonville has real good looking exterior grade 1/4 inch fir that is sold as
"cross-banded" supposed too be less void compared too standard 1/4" fir.
I m also debating using 3/8" osb on the bottom couse when i was in R E I ,I noticed that there floors were polyeurathane sealed osb and it looked real cool.
Any one have any expieriance with iether of these keep in mind thiss will be incased in a lyey of 6 oz. cloth and poly resin so water proofing is not a super concern. ( at least thats what the directions say)
Thanks again

I sure as heck wouldn't use OSB. It will swell and start to fall apart. I don't even like to use it for roof sheathing under shingles and tar paper that isn't suposed to leak.

I was out of town and my work crew put up some OSB for a porch ceiling. It rained on the back side of it. It all swelled, bowed and had to come back out. The stuff was primed on one side and stored in the garage. So it only got wet for two minutes as it was carried to be nailed up. Learn from my misfortune.

No poly or epoxy is totally water proof.
