Mini decoy swap

I think something went wrong when you posted Stephen. I don't see the bird, looking forward to it though.
 
Here are my two for the swap. I should have clarified earlier but I'm in Canada, hopefully someone is interested in the cross border trade. Thanks for hosting this, had a lot of fun and enjoyed seeing the progress in my two.

Okay. At some point today I'll write the names of the entrants down on a paper and then draw out of a hat a duck to go to that person until everyone gets a duck that is not theirs.

I didn't think of this before but since I only had one entry it throws the trade off so 1 person will only be sending one of their two birds.
I know for next year to have a extra on hand in case this happens again.
 
Okay I drew names/ducks and have it set up where you swap ducks.
So the ones on the left list send ducks to the right and vice versa

Bob / mallard ----------------------- Stephen / swan
Bob / canvasback ----------------- Steve / Bufflehead
Steve / redhead ------------------- Tony / Canvasback
Ben / mallard ----------------------- Mark / black duck
Stephen / swan -------------------- Tony / Brant

PM each other for address and try to send them as soon as you can.

Sorry Mark only one of your birds came out the hat since I only had the one bird entry. If you want I can make another and swap with you later or can just swap the single bird.

Thank You for getting the mini swap started and running it. A little disappointing as far as the number of carvers, but its a start. Hopefully next year there will be more. Its always a fun project to do, so after Xmas its time to make a couple mini decoys for next year.

I'm sure next year will be a little better and smoother with a couple tweaks.
I hope more participate because it is very enjoyable and rewarding to make these birds and trade them.
I am very excited to be getting a bird from Canada! Hope to add more states and areas through the years and memories with them.

I agree with Bob, this year's swap was fun and I appreciate you getting the swap set up with the Admin. I received some very nice birds from Stve and Stephen. Look forward to doi g this again in 2019. Merry Christmas to all!

I received my bird from Ben yesterday, wow! The detail is amazing and I have a lot of practice to do for next year.

Thank you again for coordinating and encouraging me as the newbie. I'm really looking forward to next year.
