Momarsh Invisilounge Duckboat Seat

I just received my Momarsh Invisilounge duckboat seat from Ira.... WOW, talk about a quality made product that is extremely comfortable to sit in. There are several positions different backrest angles which lock in so you can sit in your boat in a variety of ways and be totally comfortable.

If anyone out there is uncomfortable in their duckboat, has a bad back, etc... I would highly recommend this seat. It's camoflage, doesnt absorb water and I am guessing it floats too!

I agree 110% I bought mine near the end of the season last year and after using it a few times, wished I would have ordered one earlier. I just used it on Monday as the rest in my new to me 10ft aqua pod and it was very comfortable. The fact that it doesn't absord water is huge!

I looked on the site and it says that Ira made some changes to the seat. Now the is higher.
Chris is that the one you have? The newer model with the back higher. I keep looking at them and know it would be great in my BBSB but haven't got around to order one yer. I have heard nothing but great things about it. I have the cabelas seat that soaks up water

Yes they are a good seat/backrest. I have one of the early models and I too would like to know the dimensions of the new seat. Would you please tell us what it measures from the hinge to each end?

When measuring from the pivot point, one half of the seat is 18 inches and the other half is 24 inches.

Thanks for measuring that. For comparison, the original version measures 18 inches to either end.

Exactly Dave... I waited to order until the new ones were available. My boat is a little deeper than most, and I am also a big guy... so I wanted that 24 inch length to use as a backrest.
In the past I sat directly on the ground with a poor backrest. Many times my legs or rear end would fall asleep while on long sits in the boat. I am sure this seat will change all of that.

I have the origianal seat and at 6-3 225 it was almost too small but more than comfy. Will probably upgrade in the future to the big boy style they have now. That is when the original that is six or seven years old and not taken care of falls apart

Here's a quick picture that shows the new seat, the longer section is great for us bigger guys. Very comfortable... it measures 24" for reference in the photo. It also has stubble straps in the back to add some cover.

Whenever a discussion about this seat comes up I have to say how great a piece of goods this is. Everything else is a cheap imitation. Mine is about 5 years old, it is used in salt or brackish water, and I unzipped the cover and took out the frame for the first time last winter and sprayed some oil on the ratchet, which I can't believe is still working. While not a registered life preserver, it will float you and won't ever get waterlogged. Keeps you warm and comfortable. If you buy something else, in a couple of years it will be shot and you will wish you had bought the Momarsh.

Is the back part hinged so it stays up by itself or does it need a back support bar . Havent seen one in the flesh. bob

You do not need a back support bar, I am 6ft 3in, 250lbs and I sat on this in the middle of my living room floor and leaned back.... supports me no problem. The back "locks" into several different angles just by bending it.... very simple, very comfortable and incredibly effective.

One of the best hunting products I have come across in a long time, simple and high quality!

maybe Schupp should read this so he will stop laying on a piece of plywood in his boat

I have one!! I'm just that kind of host that lets the guest use it if they didn't bring one!!hehehehehe

I kicked the tires on these several times over the past 2 years... finally ordered just now. Thanks for the kick in the butt!
