What a difference one week makes. Now they look like bigger sausages! They are now nine days old and their eyes are just starting to open ever so slightly. By the end of the week things should be much different.

Looking good Al! It looks like momma is doing well with them. Thanks for posting the pics and getting my day off to a good start.

I love the picture of the "pile of puppies". It seems every litter does that. It is just a bigger pile when there are 11. Looking good Al!

Hi Al,

Always amazing how fast critters grow..seeing that you call them sausages and you are from chili country, can I safely assume that they are chorizo?

These pictures make me very very happy!!! Thanks for sharing and please keep them coming.

My 7 year old, JD, is getting a pup sometime after the soldier whoose chocolate we are taking care of gets back from Iraq. He is super excited as I am.

My best,

Don

Rich,
Thanks so much for the kind words. They bring a whole new perspective to our lives. We really enjoy having them in the house right now.

Thanks, Paul. I had to smile when I read what you said about the "pile". You sometimes wonder how the wee ones on the bottom catch a breath of air----

That is a beautiful litter you have!

I cant wait to have another litter of our own

Thanks, Doug. This is the very first time we have had color other than yellow/light yellow. Bev just can't keep from holding the male chocolate. I know she will part with it but it will probably be painful.
