My Bankes Intruder Boat Build has Started

Rob,

This is no reflection on you or your part but I hate to see this in a boat. It is obvious that the wiring will get excess glue smeared on it when assembled. This will make it difficult if not impossible to string new wires sometime in the future. Too bad that a pvc conduit is not laid in place after which the wires could be freely pulled thru the conduit.

That would be a BEAR to replace. Most likely could NOT be done. To Bankes Credit looks like they are using top of the line wire.

What's the leanth and beam of that bad boy and what HP is it rated for?
Nice looking boat good luck with it. Are you gonna put a spray dodger on it like a sneakbox has. Or does it come with one

She is 12 feet long with a 48 inch beam. 10hp Max. Boat has the option for a spray dodger. I did not get one. Im going to build my own Blind for the boat this summer.

That's sweet! They got it done pretty quick. I bet you can't wait for Oct/Nov to come around. I love that style of hunting. Sneakbox hunting is like no other. Wish you the best of luck with the new boat and with the up coming season. Keep us posted on you blind build.

Looks awesome Rob! Watching the building of your boat has helped me fight back the urge to dig up a new boat this year! (being in grad school is forcing me to wait another year or so). Have enjoyed the updates and I'm impressed with the building process they use.

Now that has to be one of the greatest treasures a duck hunter could ever want---that is of course other than shooting ducks! I'll look forward to seeing those pics of its arrival and then when you get it set up and in the water. Take care, Rob. The ultimate "rush" is about to begin.

Rob, Here is a lightweight flip down blind I built for my Bankes Intruder Sneak boat. I used the factory spray shield and added a flip down frame to it. Mounts in less than a minute at the ramp. Sets up in about a minute along the river bank.
Fully set up...[/SIZE]

One addition to the setup will be a skirt running along the side below the spray shield covering up the boat reg. number area.

Very Nice Joe. I have seen those photos when I was researching Bankes Boats. In fact they have one or two on the Bankes Web Site.

Im going to have to go lwer profile on mine. 8 years out of 10 my hunting area looks like this.
