My next boat.....if they make it in camo

They make aluminum models... they can be painted!!!

My wife just told me I should get 1!!!!!! :)

I am just thinking how nice it would be to not wait at the landing....

Wonder if you can get those wheels going fast enough to act as a duck plucker in the field? I can imagine this being used where I hunt quite a bit. Come to an obstruction in the river/stream, put the wheels down and rive over it. Can't exactly tip over if you hit uneven terrain,

Wonder what one of these would set you back?

I went to the website and did some more research. It can only operate on land for 10 minutes and then requires a 50 minute cool down. The bank climb can only be 25 degrees, terrain can not be too ridiculous, sand and small rocks are about it. I think they would like to market it as a SPECOPS vehicle but not sure it would fit the bill. Loading and unloading from the trailer on flat ground would be awesome and would be much easier than dunking the trailer axle and wiring/lights all the time. The set up can NOT be a retrofit for a different boat and when you see the laundry list of things needed, you soon realize why. I'm sure in the right conditions, the boat would be heaven. If you had a river that had log jams but could traverse on the sandbar, it would be worth its weight in handcarved decoys. It would work in some areas of the Chesapeake Bay, but if the tide runs out and you are sitting in the muck, those tires are going to do nothing but sink. As rocky as the north east coast is, I fail to see it being real effective up there. As I said, I'm sure that some spots would be perfect, shallow banks and sandy beaches of the south come to mind.

Dave, don't you just love ingenuity. That's why my next boat might just be a Hobie Adventure Island. not for duck hunting, just summertime fun.

John, I've tried the Mokia. Had to do it. I sold it shortly after i bought it. It's LOUD. the jet drive sucks up every piece of junk within one mile and bogs down the motor. It's turning radius is WIDE. On the positive, very stable, could go up the rapids (but had to stop to clean the weeds of the intake) and fit in the back of a Tundra.

They look really cool but a fire dept near me has one and it is pretty unstable. I guess with the 3 wheels it's not very good on uneven terrain. Like the old trike dirt bikes they outlawed.
