Mystery box

I recently picked up this box. No markings, 8 feet long, and extra wide (see 10ft kayak for reference), thick fiberglass, drain plug in stern, heavy duty reinforced tow ring on bow. No idea who made it, but when I saw it I immediately bought it.

I have not tried it yet. Between shiftwork and the season ending soon I will wait. In the off season when the weather warms up I will put it through sea trials in the safety of warm shallow water. I've learned the time to test things is not when the water is icy.

I wish someone knew what it was and who made it.

I’ve hunted with a guy who had this same boat awhile ago I believe he called it a puddle jumper? He had his Labrador inside it and would use as a floating dog blind in the cattails. I’ll try to find more pics neat lil rig!
