Thanks Dennis for telling me about this page to help me hunt down a certain boat. Meanwhile I thought I would share the serial number off of Nash Buckingham's Ducker today that I got from the DU exhibit.

Welcome to the site. Do you happen to have any pictures of the entire boat? I take it DU owns Nash's boat in addition to Bo Whoop I and II?

It is. I didn't ask for any more pictures from Mrs. Burke after she sent this. I was just too excited that someone that works there thought it was as cool as I do

That Ducker was given to Dr. Chubby Andrews by Mr. Buck. Andrews hunted with him in his later years at Beaver Dam. I hunted with Chubby there too in the 1990s and even gunned from that boat. He gifted the boat to DU. Chubby gave me one of the old Beaver Dam wooden paddles and I gave it to DU as well.

Bo Whoop II was purchased from Mr. Buck by Memphis cotton broker, Billy Dunavant, Jr. It is on loan to DU and displayed at their HQ in Memphis.

Bo Whoop was purchased at auction by Hal Howard, Jr. for over $200,000. He was Mr. Buck's Godson. His father hunted frequently with Nash and was mentioned in many of his famous stories. Howard, Jr. gave the shotgun to DU and it is also displayed at HQ.

Good to see you on the site. Want to let you know I really enjoyed your recent podcast interview. I shared it with my son and it only fired him up more to save for his first duck property purchase. He just graduated college and started his career (Cat heavy equip sales) and has put duck property savings ahead of all else.
