NDR; lake Michigan Charters WI/IL

We would like to take my Father out for his birthday this summer on a Lake Michigan fishing trip. We are looking for some recomendations for who to use or not to use, any info would be helpful. I think we would prefer Port Washington, but really any port from Waukegan to Sheboygan.

Hi Bill,

Though I fish the lake I don't have any good knowledge of the charter capts. I get all my up to date info on conditions, fish reports, etc. on this site: http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/reports/reports.htm#wisconsin You might be able to ask your question there or maybe even find a charter capt. The Coho have been real strong this spring according the the reports though I have yet to wet a line due to a garage roofing project. I hope to real soon though.

Thanks pete, last few summers when I went back we would go up to the breakwaters, but never had good fishing. My dad has talked about going out for years but we have never done it, think it will be a good bday present. I thought I would take a stab for info here, there are so many charters to chose from. I will try that site you listed and see what we can find. thanks again.
