My father gave me the last birthday present that he ever will this morning. After several days of hospice and several years of fighting colon cancer. My father is at peace. He was 80 years old. he never duck hunted and had not hunted in 30-40 years. He will be missed, but his fight is over.

Wow Phil, sorry to hear of your fathers passing. Glad to hear his suffering is over and you can take comfort in that. You will be in my thoughts.

Phil,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you can take solice in his peace now. You and your family will be in our prayers.

God bless,
Gene

Sorry for your loss. Glad that you can find peace at this time. Cancer is a real roller coaster
ride but the end is always difficult.
Your family will be in my prayers, John

Sorry for your loss Phil, nobody deserves what cancer has to offer. Hospice can be a wonderful thing, hopefully he was at home, with family near and pain free. You and your family have my prayers.

Phil,
I hope you were at his side if that was possible. God's Peace and Love will be with him forever. I am hoping that he had a good life for most of those 80 years.

Thank you all for your kind words. I wasn't with him. My mother was. I got there 20 minutes after. I had said my good byes every time I left him.

Cancer sucks! I am so sorry for your family, it is a hard thing to endure through. My best to you during this time.
