NDR Need instructions to install an intake system on F-150

My Christmas present this year is a 200 Expedition.
A buddy told me that adding a cold air intake would boost my mileage. I bought one from eBay (not K&N). Anyway, there are no installation instructions. I called their customer service and they said they don't provide them (I guess it's supposed to be absolutely intuitive). Anybody hang one on their F-150 or Expedition and might have the instructions laying around? Jeez, what a start I'm off to.
Thanks everyone.

Bill try www.explorerforum.com you will find all kinds of installs there for cold air. Fairly simple depending on the model you have. You will have to remove the cold air box that is there now. This is usually replaced with a shield to keep hot air in the engine bay from being pulled into the air filter. Remove the MAF sensor and tranfer that to the new intake. There should be 2 air lines ( about 3/4" diameteer) that will attach to the side down stream from the MAF. The tube will then attach to the throttle body. Take the new air intake and place next to the old one on the vehicle. It should help you see what has to change and where things go.

Sorry Bill dont see any image but that may be because I am at work sometimes they get blocked. THe Mass air flow sensor is going to look like a black square with a wire harness coming out of it. It will be held on with torx T20 security screws. It will be the only thing on the intake that has wires going to it. I'll see if I can get a pic for you

Here is what is on my Sport Trac its basically the same as the F-150. Just ran out and took these pics burrrrrr 20 something out there and me with no coat on :)

Just unplug it and take off the torx screws. You'll see that they are security type torx you'll need a scurity torx wrench with a hole in the center of the socket to fit. You should clean it while you have it out. Use alcohol on a q-tip and very very carefuly clean the fine wires that are there. Very carefully do this since they are fine and can easily be broken. Transfer the MAF and gasket to the new intake tube. You'll also see some tubing that inserts to the side of the intake tube one from the valve cover the other comes from the EGR lines I believe.

Mike, dropped you an email.
Sorry to bother you, but I have no idea why my pic isn't coming up (unless it's the spaces in the filename?).
Anyway, I think I'm on a strong blood trail here......
