NDR oil spill

Somehow a leak developed in a bottle of 2 cycle outboard oil that I left in the back of my truck and after a hard rain it was spread all over the liner. I have tried Orpine soap and hot water to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to wash the oil off the truck bed liner ? No, I do not wish to fill the bed with sand and then spray that out.

Thanks,
Harry

We have very good results using "Simple Green" cleaning the oil and grease off machines at my work place. I'd take sawdust and soak up what you can first, followed by a strong solution of the Simple Green. It may take a couple washings to get it all.

Try Paint Thinners. Last winter when I had the engine out of the Windy, I had an opertunity to clean a very oily and dirty bilge. Paint thinners broke it down and then I sopped up the mess with old towels. At my house we never throw out towels they're always recycled to the boat.

I recommend Dawn dish soap and a sponge mop. A couple gal. warm water after getting most out with paper towels.
