NDR---Some pictures for your children

Hey, Bob, lots has happened in the past 15 days. Thanks for asking about me. First of all I was forced to hunt every day of our 9 day teal season! Then, since Bev was so busy up in Wisconsin with the baptism of her 19th grandchild, it was up to me to take care of "The Pack". I almost felt like Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer with our herd. Not only that but the house was a mess and I needed to clean it. That job really should have gone to the Merry Maids but they were busy. Bev did mention something about dust that I missed. This past week my daughter from Minneapolis and son from San Jose, came to visit. As soon as things settle down I'll try and be back on track.

The first week end of October, Albuquerque's population seems to expand! We had a marvelous time taking our kids to the Balloon Fiesta. Another one of those days in which you could say, "It was perfect." What a fantastic family event. There were people from all over the world that came to see this.

Ai,
Thanks for posting, brings back memories back in the day i found myself in Albuquerque during balloon season an awesome sight. Hope none were blown into power lines this year.
Bill.

Very cool. My wife is always trying to get me to go to the ballon festival here. For some reason or another the ballons rarely go up b/c of wind ect. We usually end up spending lots of money on the "festival food"

Hi Bill,
On Sunday, one hit a power line but no one was injured, thank goodness. Glad these shots brought back some memories for you.

Great Pictures Al. Thanks for posting. Hard to envision that here in the Northeast with the weather we've been having.

Al, Love the Darth Vader Balloon , I need one of those masks for running the new boat, either that or my Elvis suit!!

Fred

Spectacular photos! Now I want to see your custom balloon with Chaco's crazy look on it. The Darth Vader balloon will deflate. :>)
Best - Paul

Thanks Al! My daughter and I really enjoyed your pictures. She says that her favorite is the Darth Vader balloon.

I know someone who can help you out Fred. Speaking of him, how are things out there?

Al, thanks for the balloons.

Somebody needs to make one to look like a giant mallard. What a decoy! Could be seen in the next state! Might be rough for the retriever though.

Al,

I just shared this with the kids. They greatly enjoyed seeing the ballons. Madison's favortie was Spider Pig and JD's was Darth Vader. Thank you for sharing.

My best,

Don

Love the spider pig That's "Spider Ham". Does anyone remember that comic book? Neat pictures Al. My wife has told me about the balloon festival out there.

Thanks for the pics Al. They brought back some good memories. My wife and I took a balloon ride a few years ago. I was a really cool experience floating over the earth so quite with no engine noise. Here are a couple shots from that morning. Luke
