Thats not a garage, thats a pole shed!! I think the saying goes something like "if your boats full of decoys you need a bigger boat, if your boats not full of decoys you need more decoys". Is the same philosophy true with filling up a garage with toys?

Phil,
you had me worried with those first few pictures. I am a huge "Red Barn" guy and I was worried that you had knocked down the old girl. Glad to see a shot of the Original!

Looks like quite the storage facility. Do you put any vapor barrier in the floor?

Have fun filling it up.

Bob

It will be a galv steel roof. The center asection is 14' tall so I can get my camper in. There will be an 11' wide room the length of the building above the center section. The sides will be rough sawn pine 1x12s. There is m@ore room around the power line than it looks like.

No vapor barrier in the floor. That will just be a rock floor this year.

Nice. I'm not sure that we could build that in most towns in CT these days. I think most jurisdictions around here would require full perimeter footings and foundation wall 4ft down.

Hey Phil,

Nice pole building. What is the actual size of whole thing, outside perimeter?

who are you getting the slab pine from? Why did you go that route over steel? Just curious.

Looks awesome, I too will admit to envy

38'w x 36' d. I am going with pine because I hate the way steel buildings look. I figure the board and batten pine will blend iin with the barn better
