New lawn mower

Got tired of cutting the grass by the end of last year, so I had a brilliant plan...

So far my new lawn mowers have cut down the raspberries, debarked a couple trees, and then got a taste for grass finally.

My real hope was that they would eat the knotweed, so far they are not getting it faster than it grows... but we'll see how it goes for the rest of the week.

You did good getting REAL lawn care, fertilizer, and protein. As far as I'm concerned lawns, lawn care, and lawn mowing are the greatest scam perpetrated on mankind! Long live the edible and nutritious Dandelion.....

Back in the 1970's a friend of mine had a few goats. Another friend was visiting one day and his car had a vinyl roof ( a thing that was done for looks in the far past). When they came out of the house one of the goats was standing on the car eating the vinyl. Clarence held a BBQ that weekend.
Another incident involving goats occurred during a manhunt in Southern Illinois when a trooper stopped at a rural home while looking for the suspect. He left his car door open and when he returned to it there was a goat in the front seat eating the papers in a briefcase which had been left open on the seat.

Many years ago, back when my kids were real little, I had 2 nubian/something crosses does. I used to stake them out on chains with a water bucket between them. They would eat a perfect circle around the stake each day. Then the next day I would move the stakes. I used to take them for walks off leash in the fields behind the house and they would "protect" me from my choc lab, which for some reason they did not like. They were interesting animals. If you spend time with them, they will grow attached to you like puppies.

Yes, they are interesting animals...

Once the grass season is done, I will sell 2 and eat 2...

Probably Marigold and Molly (the one horned and the black goat), as they look fat and juicy. :)
