New Pup

Pick up a new addition to the family. Her name is Meagan and is three months old. This was taken on the second day at home, Sunday. Chester is handling it well, as you can see. BUT, last night she nipped my wife under the arm, ouch, and I thought Chester was going to take her head off. He nocked Meagan on her back and put her in her place promptly. The rest of the night went on quietly. Forgot how much effort goes into a new pup.
Also got a new computer with a copier/printer, got one copied and thats my new avatar. His name was Northcreek Clan Chief Shamus and was one of the last litters from Chesdels Chippewa Chief. Shamus is Chester's great great grandfather, there is an interesting story how I found him after being out of dogs and hunting for around 15 years. I have some pics from the 80's I'd love to share, as I get them into the system.
The pic is a little grainey from a cell phone. I'll figure it out someday.

At least you have an older dog to help share the workload of training a new pup, sounds like Chester is helping out already.

Would love to see the older pics once you get them on the computer.
 
Fantastic. You can't have a better pedigree. My Maggie and that was a long time ago, was from the first litter sired by Chesdale Chippawa Chief. She was a gunning dog that you could write volumes about. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
