I just received Jon's NC influenced canvasback decoy and it's sweet! Look ma, no eyes and a hump! He'll get a lot of hunting time this fall on Gun Lake with my growing diver rig.

Jon, as I promised, your bird is shipping out tomorrow. The last day of August. I'm very proud that it will not make the September's "What's on your workbench." Hahaha!

I added some teasers for ya, hehehe. He has eyes...

Better tie that one to the mother line tight! Decoys have been known to mysteriously disappear when on the Gun. Rogue ice flows, line chewing muskrats, a fireman with some safety scissors, in an ice rescue suit painted to look like an unassuming yet slightly deformed swan...... I'm just sayin..

Really glad you like it, David. I hope to see some dead birds draped over it sometime later this year.

I'm getting anxious to see what the man in the brown truck brings to my house. It's like waiting for Christmas!
