It's funny you mention that I followed the birds down with the camera, purely by accident. I never did that last season and almost all of my 'barrel cam' footage was about 2 seconds of me pulling the trigger then immediately putting the gun down. This instance I thought the one bird was going to be crippled so I kept aiming in case a follow up shot was needed.
The magazine tube cap mount was the one that broke on me, although I was using it in sub zero temps for two weeks straight before it failed.
