Well I started July 25th and have put in some long days but for the most part she is done. I need to wash the interior and touch up some paint in there but that's pretty much it. The customer is going to be running one of the new Mud Buddy Black Death 5500 surface drive motors. She ought to flat out scoot.

Hunt Deck. Stainless eye bolts are for attaching the dog ladder. You can see the spray bedliner on the decks. I still need to wire in the onboard charger and the port for charging will be centered on the vertical portion in front of the hunt deck....

Control panel. 14 LED lights throughout the cockpit and in each compartment, 3 fused auxillary 12v outlets, navigation lights, fog lights, instrument/instrument lights, manually switched 1000gph bilge plus one one 1000 gph bilge wired for auto/manual. Small storage compartment at the bottom and also small dry storage right above it (the part with the stereo cover) which will be good for keys/phone/gps/etc...

Dog step/entry step. Supports my 175lbs just fine. I'm going to pick up some pins to attach it, so the bolts pictured are just for the photos. Should be right at the water line...

I hope the ducks down your way cant read!

Boat looks cool and very detailed. Enjoy the first hunt.

Did you have to splice the HUMW or could you find full length sections.

Thanks guys.

As for the UHMW, I lucked out. One of the guys that came by to look at a boat the other year runs a business installing it in dump beds of large trucks. He had some scrap of 3/8", that happened to be about a 30' x 4' and offered it for free.

Thats what I was wondering. Awesome! You could drag that boat down the highway to the spot on that stuff, and slide it in when you get there.......

Thanks guys, greatly appreciated. This is my favorite design by far and at some point in the not too distant future they'll be a NFZ in my garage! I'll be posting some final pictures along with some video once we get the motor.

Brad

Thanks Brian.

Forgot to add the specs, she's 18'3" long, 48" wide on the floor and 62" wide at the rail. The original NFZ weighed in at 660lbs +/- (scales were in 20lb increments), I'm guessing this one to be around 700-750 due to some extra bracing and add ons...still relatively light for its size. 5 of us flipped it and sat it back up on the cart with ease once I finished up with the bottom.

Very nice boat Brad... I am currently looking for some LED lights to place under the lip of my duckboats deck so they shine down at the floor and not up into your eyes.
Do you have any reccomendations on which lights to use, where to purchase them?
