George, the photo of you and Tom Matus jumping into the pool hand-in-hand, was priceless. Congrats on the win.

Thanks, Nathan! Finally got the shirt and pants on the line--I don't know if they will ever dry, AND DA BOSS will not let me near the dryer with them.. Great time--The kids are getting better each year.

Thanks George, I wish you or Dave had said something yesterday, I could have given you a "loaner" to haul out there.

Tim, I haven't a clue what you said, but thanks.

Eddie and Brian, Thanks!

One of the guys in my group bought one of those behemoth swans. With 4 guys in the car and no room in the trunk it was cramped quarters to say the least back to Rochester, NY. Next year I am taking friends who like purchasing grebes!!!

Hey Andy, got an email with a view from your back seat :0

Yup...thats what I had to look at in the back seat and then I had two canvasbacks on the rear window sill. Greg was pumped up about that swan decoy but I got a little concerned when I looked back and saw that he was caressing the swans neck. I guess he had been away from his woman for a little too long!!! The four of us had a blast and the guy with us who had never been to Westlake before said he was definitely coming back next year. The only thing I was disappointed in was that there was no swim and sell this year. Maybe next year. Thanks for posting that shot!!!

Nice post!! Exciting to see the pics! That is a giant redhead and that goldeneye rig is great. If I am not mistaken that is the mixed rig from John Lawrence and some other guys right?

This was my secong time at Westlake and it was an amazing show. The # of single and rig entries was unreal, and the youth entries were all great. I got to hang with some good friends and also met some duckboat forum members like John Jawrence and Terry, I even ordered my first branding iron from Terry. Can't wait for the next show.

What happened to that picture? I saw it once and smiled all day. Hitch was that one of yours?

Thanks, Tom--Got the buffies pretty far in diver class, too.. That shot was certainly unique--Kinda the odd couple of decoy making, doncha think?
that pic is still around, on page three--Just check Hitch's westlake post.
