old boat still getting the job done

Here is one of my boats I made in 1990-91. It started life as a Gardner designed Canadian light bateau. It was lost for a whole year in the timber due to high water When i found the boat it had some damage to the sheer line so i cut it down to 10 inches and turned it into a really big pirogue. 18' 40 inches across at the top. Poles and tracks great.

It looks like you have the perfect place to utilize your mammoth pirogue. Boudreaux said he's jealous and wants one for the bayou.
