Just watched this, not sure if anyone has posted this before. Gotta say, pretty cool that he got it running after 47 years.

Thanks! Of course, I'm so old that I did not know that carburetor floats were made of anything but cork!

Great video - but I was surprised that he was not spraying the fittings - most of which I learned as "machine screws" - before trying to turn them.

One last thought: That old Johnson never saw salt water!

He actually has around 6 or 7 videos, does a complete tear down in the end, new rings and hones the cylinders.
Amazing how pristine the inside of the crankcase looked.
