Click to expand... Carl~ Thanks! Of course, I'm so old that I did not know that carburetor floats were made of anything but cork! Great video - but I was surprised that he was not spraying the fittings - most of which I learned as "machine screws" - before trying to turn them. One last thought: That old Johnson never saw salt water! All the best, SJS

Carl Moderator Staff member Supporter Sep 22, 2024 #3 He actually has around 6 or 7 videos, does a complete tear down in the end, new rings and hones the cylinders. Amazing how pristine the inside of the crankcase looked.
