Any Bruins Fans out there?
As a kid who tried to watch the games on a black and white TV in the late 70's in the wrong end of the Bay State to get the reception for channel 38, last night was a welcome change to the two late night outcomes in Vancouver.
 
Wings fan here. I couldn't find last nights game, but it sounded like the best one yet! Love to watch hockey! I hope I can find the next game. GO Bruins!

I do enjoy a good hockey game. I remember the glory days of the Bruins and every child's idol, Bobby Orr. I am neither a Canucks fan nor a Bruins fan but would have to say I am rooting for Vancouver to win the series.
 
Not a Bruins fan but less of a Canucks fan. Great game last night except for the cheap ass shot on Nathan Horton. My bet is the Canucks have a bit of trouble the next game. Bruins are fired up (about time)

Great game last night although there were a bunch of cheap shots thrown. The Horton hit.....well wasn't good. The suspension was fitting i think. Looks like the B's have Luongo's number now.
 
Wings fan here....no way Rome should be done for the playoffs....2 games tops....the Vancouver will win the cup

good thing I didnt say anything too bad about the Canucks. I think we are surrounded.

Funny thing is, as a kid they were a kind of back up team for me. Because they were so far away and an underdog, like the Whalers.

But not any more. That was over after game three.
 
HUGE Hockey Fan...Unfortuntaly a RANGERS fan :) I've played hockey since I was a kid learned to skate when I was 4...Hockey took me all over the US and Canada in my teens playing travel.... LOVE THE GAME


Rome targeted the head...scumbag play to say the least....Horton has been a sniper through out the play-offs for the bruins ,Big loss....Nothing sweeter then seeing Messier hoist the cup in 94( I cried)...I still can see Richter stoning Bure on that penalty shot!

I remember those Ranger Games. That was a good time for the Garden Faithful.

Time will tell in Boston.

tampa tampa bay. i really want the nucks to win this just because bruins knocked out my lightning. on the horton hit i think the nhl needs to be more consistent on their punishment. i keep watching the hit in slow motion and if it wasent late it would be a perfectly legal hit, elbow in, skates on the ice, planted stance. the chara hit in montreal was a legal hit but you cant tell me chara didnt know where he was on the ice and that the stantion was coming up. im very upset with the way this playoffs has been officiated from the start and across the board not just this series.

Really enjoying the Hockey again. I had gone back to FL for a couple Weeks where my Wife canned my Satellite Package that included VS Channel, and Duck-Hunting Programs since She doesn't watch that stuff. Plenty of Teen-Mom, and Kardashian Shows though. Been back in MN for Work less than a Week, and have already seen a pile of Goals, bunch of Saves, and numerous angles of a serious Gooning! You are a Fool to goon anybody like that anymore in the NHL. You're gonna get suspended yeah for sure, but it's just not as cool as it was in Juniors. You gotta grow up in the NHL, and I think that's a cowardly way to hurt somebody.

Cheap-Shots with your Stick on the back of the Legs, and stuff in Scrums like Face-Punching, and Eye-Gouging is fine. Drop the Gloves sure. Try to hurt a Guy to His face. If you're gonna try to hurt em when they're not ready be reasonable. You're gonna get payed-back at some point. Blind-Side Elbows are nothing to be proud of. Being a Goon is partly what you can get away with IMO. In the NHL you can't hardly get away with anything. Especially the Monster-Hit on an unsuspecting Player. Bad-Form. Should have had better judgment, and more discretion if you're Rome. If that had been so serious I would have expected to see the Bruins kill Rome on the spot. If only they still had Wensinck.

Of course Chara used the Turnbuckle to hospitalize Montreal Habs-Guy earlier this Year so what's the difference I suppose? Dangerous Game, but some of these Plays really shouldn't happen. Hard to watch Guys try to breath, bleed, and convulse on the Ice. If you dive in front of a Slapper okay, but when somebody seriously goons you in the Head it's different. This is worse than when McSorley hacked Brashear in the Noggin if you asked me...

I am going to forgive you because back in the day, in highschool, I remember reading a book on the shelf of the library about the Strangers written by one of their defensemen. I think he played in the 50's or 60's. It talked about how hard it was to have to ride the bus home to NY from Boston after games in the Garden and getting the heck beaten out of the team.

But there are still 2 games to play. And Boston is not dead yet.

Mike we need a little energy in the Old North Station......
