one hell of a week!

sorry it took so long but without internet my smoke signals wouldn't make it too far.

the first week of june Nikki and I both moved into an old farm house(1920's) just across the field from her parents. its a little closer than i want but walking across the field to grab kali to hunt or fart around with is pretty nice.

june 11 was my wedding it was an absolute blast. after 9years since high school we finally tied the knot. (that poor girl has no idea what she is getting into, lol). there was only 1 fight, and the rain ended before the ceremony and everything went according to schedule.

I think you guys know this jive turkey! he was a dancing machine!

Dinnah!

then we set off to the west coast for a week.

it was absolutely amazing, i have absolutely no desire to live on the east coast. we loved every second of it out there (even the rain!) and didn't want to come back.

we landed in seattle and it wasn't that bad of a city, way better than NYC, Boston, Providence, etc. The Fish was fresh but coming from an old swamp yankee who gets his own, it was expensive!

From there we got the edmunds/Kingston ferry and headed out to the Olympic Penninsula. we had a bomb sniffing dog work our rental out. (the Handler placed a sack of gunpowder under our bumper)

i may or may not have used that as a whip....

OMG Harli's!!!!! literaly made my trip in 1 hour of driving. I'm sure you guys can't make it out but they were awesome little birds

we drove all the way out past seiku and stayed at the chito beach resort right on the Juan Defuca strait and could see Canuck land across the salt water.

thats enough for now I'm frying up some black fish

Congratulations Chris and Bride!

You to.make a lovely couple and I'm sure you're in for a lifetime of great memories!

Almost 35 years for me and my sweetheart, and while not every second has been bliss, we both would do it all over in a New York heartbeat.

Good luck, and thanks for sharing!

Jon

That's AWESOME Chris . Congrats to both of you and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

Good morning, Chris~

Congratulations to you both! I wish you a long and happy life together - whichever coast you land on.

All the best,

SJS

Chris, the folks who live in Seattle and the surrounding area agree with your perspective 100%, no mater how you stratify their demographics!

Nice to see that chunk of the world through "fresh" eyes... Have fun!

I am going out to San Juan Island next year to fish and crab off my old Great Lakes boat.

The book of life..... Another chapter begins Chirs. Congratulations on the nuptials and enjoy what the future holds.
