Options on burlapping geese decoys

I have six new Herter's geese decoys unpainted. I was going to burlap them but I am wondering whether they can be covered with bedliner coating. Will it destroy the foam and if so is there a primer I could use to prevent this from happening ?

I think this was covered over on the Decoy forum on the 'Fuge.

If there are solvents in the coating it will disolve the foam.

There are several good burlapping threads over there and other than messy it appears to be quite easy way to make a hard shelled decoy
