I know the whole story behind the Outlaw Boat Company. I know about Jim Cripe and all of his dealings. I know about the poor souls that lost their lives in a Outlaw Duck boat. And the law suits . But with all that said I have had my outlaw pro 18 for almost eighteen years. I have been on big water on very ruff days. In down pours, snow storms, high winds and heavy ice. I'm telling you the truth as God as my witness . The boat is still going strong after all these years. I'm not here to try to sell you a boat. I not here to say my boat is better then yours. I am just saying a got my moneys worth out of my boat. I have hunted many times out of a TDB.
On the ocean, on rivers and I was at the factory watching them get built when the factory was a old chicken coop looking thing. They are a fine boat and I enjoyed them. Never went for one because I'm a big guy and its hard to climb into. I hunted in all kinds of boats and I'll have to say. They didn't blow me away like the outlaw did back in 1999-2000. Its not like today where you go on a website and you can do everything but ride in the boat. Back then I was looking in a Field and Stream magazine. In the back of the magazine there was always cool stuff. Places to go hunting, place to buy the best hunting dogs and places to buy a boat. I saw the add and sent for the free video. I fell in love with the boat and spent a bunch of money. That I didn't have to buy it. I did not get it right away like today. It took week and week for it to come across the county. But when it did I was so fired up. Waiting for something really isn't bad young people. Its the trill of the kill. My Point any boat can sink. Trust me I had my share of them over the years. Everyone of us know when you go out in ruff water or ice or a bad storm it doesn't end pretty for some of us. I just wanted to write about this. Because every company has built lemons. Every company has been sued one time or another. Make your own mind up when you buy something. Another persons junk is another persons riches. Stay safe
