It seems I was picking her up just a short while ago, Maine's opener was yesterday and it was great to get Pearl out, here she is, gunning at 7-1/2 months. Also was fortunate to get out this morning too. Love having a lab of my own in the blind!

Hope you enjoy

Wow. You've done well. Your dog looks like a seasoned pro not a 7mo old puppy.

Tod- Thanks for those photos. I absolutely love watching dogs work. Dogs that naturally retrieve and point and just too much fun to watch. I can honestly say that I would not hunt if I couldn't have a dog along with me.

Troy,

Congrats on a job well done. Nothing like hunting with your own retriever.

I love that 3rd photo.

Thanks again everyone.

Dave, She is out of N.C. from http://www.blueheavenretrievers.com/About-Us.html

Dave Burton is the owner of the kennel and due to the ability of this litter he did a duplicate breeding and pups are due soon but not sure of the date.

Pat, "Pearl Jam" certainly is appropriate. It's been a great summer training and an absolute ball gunning with her.

Will be back out on Thursday for more puddle action (I hope) and then some sea ducks next week, weather permitting.

Have a great season all!

Troy,
Not trying to hijack this thread, but had been looking at Blue haven web site before you mentioned them. Not to far from home and believe they have a line of Chocolates. How do you feel about them and there dogs. Actually thought about riding down and meeting them.
