Yesterday Phil PM'd me wanting to know about the Striper fishing here in Montauk and were the Scoters showing up? Well I can safely tell you the Striper fishing is fantastic. Sunday we took 2nd place in the Star Island Striped Bass Tourniment. We won $4600 with a 40.4 pound Striper, The smallest fish we brought in for our limit of 8 was 35 pounds.
More and more sea ducks are showing up every day. Mostly White Wings, Blacks and Skunk Heads a few Eiders. Opening day is only a week away , Were booked for fishing until the 19th and then we get to go gunning, I'll be gunning Gardners Island for sure. They will be there waiting for us. I hope!
