How big are they? I just upped the max size to the ceiling of what our server allows. If they don't work now I can do no more and you'll need to use some image processing software to resize them. Plenty of free sources for that.

Did you retry the upload?
You can always use the Windows Paint app to shrink the picture. I have never been a graphics dude(more of a spreadsheet dude) but have found this easy to use for this purpose.

I have an app on my iphone that decompresses photos. Takes less than 5 seconds and then they will upload.
The app is called "PhotoCompress" and looks like a gray box, with a vise (handle on top right) and compressing pictures. Works well, but that was my issue for a long time as well.
