Buddy and I saw this guy out scouting today. Pic is not the greatest, it was from his point and click. Pintail x Mallard cross.

Very cool. Even from a point and shoot picture you can see it's a pintail x mallard. Not your average park duck right there.

That is a very nice shot to capture, Chris. Tim, when I saw the hen behind it made me think of how many crosses that one mallard/pintail hybrid could produce this year.

Yep, looks like some F2 hybrids will be showing up next fall.

Pat Pitt had sent me a picture of three pintail/mallard hybrids that he raised in his aviary a few years ago. A great looking drake that is so unique.
