Please! come with me on a diver hunt today

I really, really enjoyed this post. Great pix. The hen between the drakes in flight is the kind of photo you have to shoot thousands of images to get. I look forward to more. Other than Hitch and a hand full other duck hunters, there are very few people in Florida that seem to know you can take pictures in the field. Most of what we see in Florida are dead ducks on a truck tailgate in the driveway at home. Sometimes we get pictures of dead ducks on the tailgate...at the ramp.

The quality of your pictures is incredible. In fact today while hunting with Jeff Smith and Jeff Bowen the topic of your most recent pictures and pictures in the past was one of the things we discussed. Incredible waterfowling talent with exquisite photography. Can't wait to see what is next.

I have never even seen a red head but your pics are so vivid that I feel like I am right there. As I am sure you know, you are indeed a fortunate man to live in a place that has such a diversity of waterfowl. May I ask what camera you are using to take these picture and what lenses you are using ? I am at the point that I think I could enjoy shooting with a camera as opposed to a shotgun. I too have an estuary and that surely must make a good platform for pics like these. Thanks for all of your pictures, they are the best I have ever seen.

Gary,great tale and Photos.Going through the pics to the Wigeon,was wondering what boat you were using,seeimg the bow sprit,knowing you had an Estuary.Cleared it up for me when The pic of River siting there rolled around.Handy spot.You added the sprit platform.What make SxS are you shooting?I forgot.
