Pointe Mouillee

I'm sorry to say that I'm going to miss it this year. Hope the weather kind to them this year. That place turns into a mudhole when it rains.

We will be there. Tom I hear ya, Same here but we wouldnt miss Pointe Moullie Either. Love shopping at the Pointe.
 
Back from the point,it rained over night but quit at daylight turned clear and sunny,no mud this year. Not as big a crowd as i expected,personally i was quite happy sold a bunch of decoys. All of my divers went only brought home about two dozen puddlers. Got to speak with old friends and meet with some new,like tony h.
I would have to say the show was off but the economy had more to do with it than anything else.

Bill, made the trip to the Pte. yesterday. I think this is about 15 years in a row for me. Seems like the numbers have been way down the last few years. Enjoyed the shooting contests and seeing some of the youngsters calling, but overall I was disappointed at the vendor selections and the decoy contest. Guess there are just too many options anymore for folks to attend.
