PolarKraft Outlander 20?

A friend is considering purchasing a used 2014 Polar Kraft Outlander 20. It's got a 4 stroke Yamaha 115, set up as a center console. His intended uses include lake fishing, striper fishing in protected ocean waters, and family cruising, and duck hunting, including some limited sea-ducking.

Anyone have any experience with these that would be worth passing on to him? I've seen plenty of them, and been in some of their smaller utility and john boats, but not this one.

Hi Jeff, Not sure if know Mike or not, but pretty sure when he took Thornehead's Guide Service over from Arnie, he was running a 20 or 21 Polar Kraft. Might be worth a call. The hull design looks very similar to the Lund Alaskan, 20'. My Alaskan was a great bay boat and other water sports too. Here's Mike's contact number.

Hi. I live in Scarborough and have a 2015 Polar Kraft Outlander 2010. It sounds like the same setup you are looking at. Mine is not for sale but if you want to stop by to check it out and have an in-depth discussion of everything I know about it, I'd be happy to meet with you. They are pretty rare so your chance of finding and talking to someone about it is also rare. Call or text at 207-329-1564. Cheers. Billy Cook

Thanks, Billy. I'll pass this on to my friend Garrett if that's OK with you. Let me know. He's looking at one at a dealer somewhere, I think in Bangor.
