Day 1, Finds me alone on my favorite River The PendOreille. I had my camper so I would stay for the finale until my old body had enough. At age 56 my old body is starting to show the effects of 40 plus years waterfowling.
I thought that would never happen. A few years back I was called Turbo, from one of my friends, and a blurr from Brad Forgay. Today I ach every where. It was 105 day season and I worked hard trying to do my best at
something I dearly love. Sitting in the marsh with my best friend (River). Even she was showing some wear from the long tough season. It makes me sad to put the gear away for another year. I hope all my friends on this
site had some great memories also.
Pic. 1 is of my set that first morning
Pic. 2 These two pintails gave me a shot, but was looking through the lens instead of the gun.
Pic. 3 River retrieving a beautiful Redhead
Pic. 4 These two drake wigeons did a fly by but didn't like all the white and balck in the set.
Pic 5 This last drake was trying to catch up, I liked this photo.
Pic. 6 Three redheads swimming in the decoys. I had my two, so just set and watched.
Pic. 7 Oh my God! The greaters are turning into my set. This should get any waterfowlers blood going.
Pic. 8 A flock of redheads comming into the set.
Pic. 9 The mountains just north of me with the evening sun on them.
Pic 10. River in the messy blind, trying to get some rest.
Pic. 11 Now this bird got me excited. You see if you can tell which one? My shooting skills were off today so this one lived another day.
Pic. 12 You got love this incomming shot.
Day 2 to follow. I hope you enjoyed this set.
