First and foremost, I just wanted to thank everyone who chimed in with their 2 cents regarding TDB versus Bankes. Bankes seemed to be the favorite amongst most of you guys. Some even migrated away from TDB to Bankes. Anyway, just yesterday, I purchased a 2010 Bankes 14' Dominator from a very nice gentlemen in Ellis Grove, IL. The boat seems to have been meticulously cared for. I am excited to see it in person when I finally take delivery of it next month; most likely at Westlake. I ask you guys for another favor. I need to buy a motor for it now. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for me. I thank you in advance.

Congrats on the purchase. I had been watching that one myself. I wondered if someone here would wind up with it. Looked like it had never been used from the photos!
 
Suzuki 40 4 stroke can't go wrong own a few Yamaha over the years the Suzuki is a better motor and cheaper in price and has a better warranty

Good thing you purchased that boat I had my eye on it my wife would have killed me if I bought a 2nd Bankes
